Originally launched in 2013, the Trio Alta’s range of residential elevators have been successfully adapted so it can now travel an additional six metres in distance. This means that if you live in a townhouse with three floors, or a period building with high ceilings, or have a basement and two floors above, the Trio Alta is now an option for homeowners depending on the installation requirements.
At Stiltz, the company is always looking for ways to develop and improve its series of elevators. After listening to customer feedback, it was decided that that the product development team would focus its efforts on increasing the travel distance of the Trio Alta.
This now makes it possible for the lift to travel between the floors of the home without having any impact on the elevator’s sleek and compact design. The new height capability also means that those with higher ceilings will now be able to have a Stiltz elevator installed.

Our most spacious lift
The largest lift, the Stiltz Trio Alta, is suited to anyone who needs to travel with a wheelchair, walking frame or other mobility aid. It is also ideal if the user perhaps needs to travel with someone else for assistance, or a child who requires extra support.
Flexible placement
The Stiltz Trio Alta is compact but spacious inside making it as accessible as possible for the passengers but retaining the compact design that the brand is known with the lift covering less than 15 sq ft surface area. This ensures that placement of the elevator is incredibly flexible, and it can be located almost anywhere in the home and with one-to-two-day installation time.
Quiet
Despite being larger than other Stiltz elevators, the Stiltz Alta is still super quiet. It uses an electric drive motor system so avoids creating any of the noise associated with hydraulic or vacuum style lifts and is quieter than many stair lifts.
Energy efficient
The Trio Alta is just as energy efficient and plugs into a standard dedicated 220v power outlet like any other household appliance in the United States. There are no load bearing walls required as the Stiltz lift travels between the floors of the home on a dual rail system, or ‘stilts’, with a compact drive motor built within the lift itself powering it upwards and downwards.
